DRYVIT HELPS YOUTH CENTER “GET ITS GAME ON”

-Company donates new X-Box 360, Playstation 3 and other games to youth center in need-

West Warwick, R.I. (April XX, 2006) – Dryvit Systems, Inc., the leading manufacturer of Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS) headquartered in West Warwick, R.I. has done its part to help the city provide a safe environment for kids to spend time.  The company purchased an X-Box 360 and an additional controller, a Tony Hawk skateboarding video game, Street Homecourt, a basketball video game, a Sony Playstation 3, wireless controller, a Sonic the Hedgehog video game and a boxing video game – all of which were donated to the West Warwick Youth Center, run by community police officers.

“We are part of the community,” said Peter Balint, president and CEO of Dryvit Systems, Inc.  “We are happy to help provide kids in the community with a safe, fun place to interact.”

Major Charles Desrosiers was very thankful for Dryvit’s generosity.  “This is great…we won’t have to divert funds from something else to provide for these items because of this donation,” he said.  “The nonviolent games are a good way for kids to interact.  If we can get the kids early…we can prevent them from heading down the wrong path.”
